LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

The options are endless when visiting the Crossville area. Local hot spots include downtown with places like the military museum and the palace theater.
What attracted us to Crossville are the endless waterfalls in and around the area. Including places like Rock Island State Park, Ozone Falls, Fall Creek Falls, Burgess Falls State Park, and Cummins Falls to name a few.

Also note: We are about an hour from Knoxville, TN which is a very easy scenic drive going east on I-40. ​
We are about 45 Minutes to Cookville, TN easy drive on the I-40 as well. If you feel adventurous select no highways on GPS to go to Cookville and enjoy the quaint country backroads that makes Tennessee so appealing to many.
Last and certainly not least Nashville TN. Just about a 2 hour drive from Crossville and the things to do are limitless.
All these places are perfect to schedule as day trips. Making Crossville your home base saving you a lot of money on big city hotel stays.

CUMBERLAND MOUNTAIN STATE PARK

For the nature and outdoor enthusiast Crossville offers Cumberland Mountain State Park. Definitely a must see. The park features a beautiful lake, beautiful scenic views, approximately 14 miles of hiking trails and a restaurant as well.

OZONE FALLS & BEYOND

There are many waterfalls in the area as well. One of the most famous waterfalls in the area is Ozone Falls. It features a unique, deep blue plunge pool, an impressive rock house amphitheater, and was a filming location for the 1994 movie Jungle Book. Ozone Falls is a 43-acre natural area in Cumberland County and is one of Tennessee's most heavily-visited state natural areas.

GOLF CAPITAL OF TENNESSEE

Other activities include golfing. Did you know Crossville is considered the golf capital of Tennessee? Yes, it’s true. There are a few great golf courses in the area. First one that comes to mind is The Bear Trace.
